The Awesome Thread

So, the Awesome part. I was offered the Quality Manager position in Savannah. Excellent relo package.

Unfortunately, the salary was not where we needed it to be. I did not see the value in Jeff leaving a position he has held for five years (in this job market) for the exact same money. Especially since we have a mortgage (in this housing market). I was hoping to stay in the plasma industry but I know God will open the door that He sees fit. Until then, I am praying and patiently waiting ... and making Jeff lot's of pies! Today, mincemeat.

 

I'm sure the right thing will come along!

 

Many of us have been there and done that. Stay patient and keep working to find more opportunities.

 

BTW, we all like pies too, ya know.

 

I will have to share my Yummy Caramel Apple Pie recipe. I think that may be Jeff's favorite.

The painting is done in my basement and now just to lay the carpet and unpack!

 

My awesome news... 3 days to Vegas vacation and 3 days 'till I meet up with the Limecat!* woo hoo!

(*for you non-B&Bers, Rabidpotatochip, aka Limecat, is a former B&Ber and quite the character who lives in Canada and who has become a good friend over the years.)

Good to hear about the vaca and have a great one but be careful with those Canadians..they can be really unruly..

I will share that since RPC is not staying as long as I will be, I'm thinking about taking guitar lessons while out there.

I haven't sampled his goods yet (nothing ready when I was last in Canada), so I don't know if it's good or bad. Tho, I really am dying to try mead.

We'll I'm already wearing black and white.... I guess I could pass for a clergyman. Otherwise, just send the bills to yourselves and we're good to go.

 

You'll probably feel like you're dying afterward too. Mead gives you one heck of a hangover.
