  1. The Travel Box 2012, on it's way to the last stop before returning to Fort Smith. In a little less then two months the Travel Box, has gone to the west coast, southwest, plains, then traveled east then south. Amazing how fast it has traveled across the USA, I went to personally thank all the participants for what they have added to the box, for keeping moving along quickly.

Once the box arrives back to me it will be prepped for a 2nd nationwide tour, further details forthcoming.

  2. I would love to participate if there's still time. Only problem is I have a military training exercise that I have to leave for on Saturday. :(

Is there a way I could still participate when I get back?
  3. The box is now in the "capable" hands of the USPS tracking number 03120860000146976395. I managed to get the Arko after shaves in the box(hated to see them go I liked them, but my wife didn't so ....), however to make room I had to take out the Bath and Body Works lotions, the Tranquil Breeze body splash, and the Agua de Ruda cologne since they were the bulkiest items. If anybody is interested in any of these let me know.
Joe, You might want to pick up another priority box 'cause I reused this one , but I wouldn't guarantee it making it back to Arkansas:p
Now unless the baby gets impatient you should get the box and have time to dig through it and send it home in plenty of time.

Oh and another thing I hope your good at 3D puzzles, because it's an experience repacking that sucker:bounce015:

Hey Brad while I'm thinking about it, do you know any Time Lords? Because next time we might need something like the TARDIS to fit everything in:happy097:

  4. I will be preoccupied tonight and tomorrow as the Doctor wants to induce labor and we are headed to the hospital to start at 12:30 AM!
I will be watching out for the box via USPS number and make sure my in-laws (next door or around the corner) bring it on for me, but I may be delayed getting it back to Fort Smith by a couple days, but will try to get it back out ASAP (in a new box, of course).

It looks like our little girl is anxious and will be coming tomorrow!

    Thanks, Joe!
  5. Good luck Joe!!! Hope everything goes OK and take care of your wife and little girl and I thonk I can speak for everybody else and say don't worry about the box, just get to it when you get a chance.

  8. Hey Brad, While we're waiting to here from Joe about his little girl do know what the scent of the mentholated shave soap you put in the box is? I like it just can't place it.
  9. Sorry, your post got skipped in all the excitement. Fishcrow has said that he will send the box out again on a nationwide tour again, 2012 Travel Box Round II;). It's almost through the first round and should be getting ready to take another trip across America in a month or so. PM Fishcrow with your address and let him know to add you in case the next trip starts while you are away.

  10. Roger that, sent in my info. I won't cry about getting skipped as long as I get in on the next one and get to give back to this community. And I hope whoever had the baby has a beautiful, healthy child.

  11. The puck of mentholated soap, I received it in a swap of unbranded soaps. I'm not sure of the maker of the soap.

  13. No problem, I was just curious.
  14. Hello Friends!
It's a girl! Arianna Gale at 6 lbs., 0.8 oz. and born on 10 JUL at 7:18 PM CST.

Today is our first day home and the box was waiting, in fact, USPS wrapped it in a plastic bag to keep it dry in the rain and it worked as it stayed out on the front step until my Father-In-Law placed it inside late in the day it was delivered.

I will try to go through the box over the weekend.
Thanks for your understanding on what I hope is a short delay as both, my beautiful and healthy baby girl and box arrived sooner than expected!

    Joe.
  15. Congrats Joe, Glad everybody's OK.
Also happy to here your post office is so considerate, mine would probably just left it on the porch in the rain unprotected. Besides everything is in ziplock bags, so the few things not sealed in containers would have been ok. Don't worry about any delays, we understand. Even if I was next in line, instead of having sent it, I wouldn't be concerned about it.
Oh and enjoy the times with your daughter because she'll grow up sooner than you expect too:rofl:
