I agree Bab 5 was great. I disagree though about the later seasons.. IMO they were pretty good too. Walter Keonig, of ST fame played the role of Bester, head of the dreaded Psi corps and I thought he did a really good job...

only the 5th season stunk. the reason why is that JMS and the rest of the crew thought the show would be cancelled at the end of the 4th season. Thus, they wrapped up all the plotlines. When B5 was picked up for a 5th season they were caught flat footed. They put the 5th season together quickly and without a lot of prior thought and it shows.

Bester was a super effective villain. Walter Koenig did as awesome job. One of my quibbles with the 5th season is that they never show him brought to justice.

Yeah I saw that yesterday. It's a shame. I mean on one hand, he did live a nice long life. I mean 91 years? But his passing is, well... what can you say really? Bradbury was a giant not only in fantastic fiction, but literature as a whole. He'll definitely be missed, but at least he left us a vast body of work to cherish.

Love the Trek Thread. Always liked the scene with alternate universe Sulu and ("our") universe Uhura. When I first saw that episode I was taken aback when Uhura pulled out that ghastly looking knife to keep alternate Sulu at bay, but then I realized while watching that episode repeatedly it was nothing more than a fancy letter opener!:happy097: But, of course, nothing beat Spock with the goatee, that was just extremely cool

Boy this bring back memories. I just saw that episode on TV recently. Spock with a goatee was awesome, he could have been a cool villain.

It's a good. But can it hold a candle to the abridged version of Francis Kitt's award winning production of Hamlet, featuring an all Elcor cast? It's an unforgettable fourteen hour experience. :D

I think that somewhere in the near future that Star Trek and the good Doctor need to converge within the same space-time continuum. I could see the TARDIS materializing aboard the Enterprise....it could happen ;)
