Thanks, guys. I'm so thankful I was able to be there to hear her sweet giggles the morning of surgery, before she went in. One of the best gifts I have ever been blessed with. Thank you all!
JoAnna I'm glad everything went well and the tearing up thing it perfectly fine. Being a Pediatric nurse myself i get teary eyed fairly often and my love of the patient is nowhere near the love of the parents. Hope all is well and for a quick recovery. I know from personal experience ( about 40 cast myself) that cast are no fun. Thank you for all that you do for the members of this Forum!
Thursday the cast should be coming off! My little princess has the most amazing spirit, and has handled this situation unbelievably well. Thank you all again for your amazing support!
My daughter's cast came off yesterday, and we weren't expecting an unhappy child. Apparently her legs and hips being stuck in the same position for 6 weeks makes for some very sore and painful days ahead.
Yeah.........I got fussed at for "looking" at her. Looked at her legs. Didn't touch. After yesterday, I think she's now more scared of moving/being moved. Getting her over these "fears" can be very difficult.
