As far as I know, the original inspiration for that custom title had nothing what so ever to do with any kind of beverage. In order to avoid any further misunderstandings, at this point I feel it's best not to bring up this reference again..thanks...
A painting by Maxfield Parish. I collect his prints and have been using Luteplayers on forums for years. I have never found it taken when I register. http://maxfieldparrishonline.com/1922b.htm
Tim Robbins' character in Bull Durham. I used to make the mistake of registering with much more obscure references.
I've been there, done that...yep, I too was once only a number. I can't find it but I seem to remember you remarking on how a member (I think it was me) would be lucky if he didn't get rusty metal tetanus after shaving with a carbon DE blade. It might have been in one of my threads.
I was a Marine. I am an awesome shot with any rifle and bow. I shoot by instinct, not using sights. I aced the rifle range in Camp Pendleton many years ago. I live in Ohio near Camp Perry where they have the long range rifle competitions. Carlos Hathcock is one of my idols. He was nicknamed White Feather or Long Trang to be exact. I have been using it for the last ten years or so. Semper Fi!
Lyndon is my actual, real first name. Seemed like a good idea at the time. But not very cool I guess. LOL!
drew= nick name can= cause i can draw= cause i can draw decently i think in my humble opinion been using it for the last 5+ years and before that i was funnydude34 (cause im funny O_o)
Well, mine is not that creative. I mainly stick with the basic when it comes to online usernames Chris-first name C-first letter of last name 1977-year I was born And when I really want to mix it up, I also use ChrisC_77 Really pushing the envelope here!
Well, mine is very complicated and obscure. Jerald is my first name. Gordon is my last name. Not much of a story there! But I am proud of my avatar - a noble old goat, just like me!
One of my buddies started greeting me with this name (similar to my name). Sounds best shouted and drawn out--Maaakaaa!
Hayter is the knick name I earned back when I was involved in the Mini-truck club scene out here in So Cal.
I am afraid that my ID is also one of those simple minded one (read that I use a lot and can remember) initial of first name and part of last name. It is unique enough that I don't often run into it as being used or have to add numbers to it to make it unique. And it is not as long as the last name so I save key stokes.
I was suffering from RaZorBurn (poor technique) when I figured I better come find a group and ask questions. I added the 123 because RaZorBurn was taken and I was tired of trying different combinations.
