Im a professional tattoo artist...been an artist since I can remember. Never had to go to college to do what I want luckily. In fact I could have went to any college of my choice in Oklahoma after high school. But I turned it all down to work towards what I truly wanted in life.
I'd estimate about 75% of my work is doing design for water & wastewater treatment facilities, wells, pump stations, lift stations, and the SCADA systems associated with those.
I've been a MURSE for 25 years. I'm a (CCRN) Critical care RN who specializes in cardio thoracic intensive care and Trauma surgical intensive care. Currently, I'm owner and operator of a company that provides traveling RN's and traveling ER Doctors to hospitals with a need. So, I guess I'm a business man now ! I do though still work a couple of shifts a week at a local hospital ICU, so I can stay on the front line and always remember where I came from. I'm a male nurse (MURSE) and I love my job.
Retired! Didn't like it! so...... Was an engineer in the Aerospace Defense who shamed his family and legacy by "going into" management? My 1st job was Voyager (that's how old I am) and my last was the B2. Now-a-days, I'm a consultant (really mentor is closer to the truth).
Thats funny, youre #2 is our #1. I spent five years working in water and wastewater plants as an operator and mechanic. What I learned working in sewage plants is dont eat anything in the refrigerator that you didn't personally put there and double bag everything. Nasty.
A+ brother. I intend on working as long as I mentally and physically can do my job. I do assume I'll die of old age at work.
Unless I can find a way to be happy without stuff, my retirement plan is to work until I can't as well.
