Man, am I ever smooth as a baby's little tukhis this morning after such a great shave - this Bozzano Sensitive cream from Brazil is a Level B according to my menthol scale. The 444 and Osage Rub are as Level A as you could get - I don't think there are very many other kinds which are able to match them! ;) :D

Arley, I couldn't agree more. I am using an old favourite of mine this week, the Merkur 11C, which has the same head as the 1904 and also loaded with a Feather - it is one of my most preferred combinations!

I've been getting some really good shaves with the Filly. Hype or not, it's a excellent, solid shaver and will hang with any razor I have. It'd be nice to stumble onto a 13 or 14 at a reasonable price, probably not going to happen. Anyway, excellent shave this morning. Have a good one.

Todays shave! Not too bad but I did get a bit of irritation in the cheek area from the Schick Injector blade. This was the 3rd shave with the blade and I think it may have been the last. But all in all it was a good shave. Irritation cut it short at 2 passes but I'm smooth as all get out.

Soap- The Shave Den "Indonesian Teakwood" explodes with lather and smells great!
    Razor- Schick Injector L1
    Blade - Schick Injector
A/S - Vitos "Tobacco"...nice floral scent this is one of my top 3 favorite aftershaves.

The lather wasn't that great today. Guess I still have to get used to hand-lathering. That and the brush which I used for the first time today. Got really close to a BBS, though! :)

Have a great day! And hopefully all in hurricane Sandy's path are allright!

Yeah, that feels so luxury! I really enjoy warm lather! I just put a bowl in the sink with warm water, but one day I'll get me a scuttle. I like the color and the classy simplicity of yours.

Opened up a box of Fitjarsoaps Folgefonn soap. Folgefonn is a glacier in the norseland, and according to the description should be freezing cold. But not so much.
I believe Mr. Crackstar would call this one closer to lukewarm. I am a menthol novice, and I rate it slightly less cooler than green Proraso. But perhaps it will serve a nice menthol soap for the winter?
It lathered up nicely do and gave me a nice close shave.
Since this was my first time using this soap, I suspect that I could benefit by using a longer loading time and less water. Maybe next time.
