Well I either wish I had tried the original blades OR maybe it's better that I haven't.. So far these blades have given me the CLOSEST, SMOOTHEST and LONGEST lasting shaves I've EVER had!! Only the price keeps me from getting a hundred, but thats today tomorrow who knows.. I can definately say that if there were in the Astra SP price range I'd already have at least 2 boxes on the way!...Damn,Damn,Damn there I go talking myself into getting these blades now.. They cost so much, but they really are nice on my face....
No, the best DE blade is the laser cut, krypotonic diamond nanoedge iHone blade from Orange. Everyone has them.
Well after another "FANTASTIC" shave this morning I convinced myself and ordered a 100ct pack of the Polsilver Super Iridiums... I took a small detour and shaved with a PermaSharp yesterday. The result was the same but the shave was for me slightly better(smoother) with the Polsilver SI's. I got a pretty good deal as far as I know from "Double Edge Shaving Place" $34.95 with free shipping. This will be my first order with them,but they have some good reviews, so I'm just hoping it all works out ok..
Oh no I have not tried them. Since they are the best where can buy 100? This sounds like it must be the best. I must be the last guy without them.
I think they are still sold at the shave shop on Deep Space 9. Or just ask any Ferrenghi, but beware of counterfeits if you buy from them.
And I'm sure they are no longer in production and the Deep Space 9 only ships with in 10 light years. I hate when this happens.
For me the Astra SP is the best blade i ever used.It´s very sharp but smooth enough to get a clean,good shave.I also like the Feather,red Personna and the Derby a lot.The Feather is the sharpest blade i ever used.Sometimes when i shave my face,there are no sounds of cutting the whiskers off...Stunning!!!But this blade is the one,i´ve been cut many times,so now i am very very careful now.
Thats right. The Red Personnas are still forgiving. I also used Rotbart Blades. What do you think of these?
Try them... I think they are forgiving too but very clean. I dont use it in the last times because i have so many other blades to test. Maybe someone can tell me about the Gillette 7 o'clock?!

Im half way through my sampler pack that I ordered and so far the best has been the Shark Super Chromes. The first blade I used was the Red Persona and I think it might have been to aggressive for my first DE shave. Im thinking i might go back and try them again.
Yeah, the Red Personna was a bit aggressive for me at first too, but I got used to it. Best thing to do is start with duller blades and work your way up to more aggressive blades. The more you try, the more you'll figure out what works best for you.
