Been curious about this scent. The name is enticing. Picked up a bottle at TSD Shop and glad I'm did. This fragrance is soothing and pleasant aromatic. Anyone else have an opinion or tried something similar?
I've only tried JoAnna's version in her Florida Water Type soap. Not bad. Not something I'll rush right out and buy, but not bad.
Love the Florida Water! It reminds me of some scent from my childhood. Candy? Spices? Maybe remeniscent of Necco wafers or something. Not sure what. Joannas Florida Water Type shaving soap is also really good, it smells just like the cologne IMHO
It's my favorite locally available aftershave. I can get it at any of the CVS stores in my town. It burns like crazy, but the smell is outstanding. I dropped some menthol crystals in my bottle for a little something extra.
Ha! I do nearly the same thing! I put about a nickel-sized splash in my palm and then put 2 drops of TSD M-Bomb in, rub it on both palms and then onto my face. AHHH, that icy goodness!
I have a bottle I use as an after shower splash. Unfortunately I find it to be a very weak short lived fragrance and won't be getting a refill.
I used a bit too much menthol in my FL H2O so it has been taking me a little while longer to use it. I normally don't mind menthol year round, but mine is way too cold for a cooler day. It is like AV x12 in coldness.
I love M & L Florida Water! It has just enough spice; this is the only fragrance I use when travelling.
It has been a long time since I used Florida Water. As I remember, it is very refreshing, but the scent doesn't last longer than twenty minutes, if even that long.
I've never smelled it and was half tempted to get it in the TSD Lanolin Soap. I like experimenting with scents, but I think this would be too much burn for me.
Ryan, IMHO, the TSD soap sample in Florida Water Scent smells just like the cologne. I'm sure the lanolin or wheat cream would be just as good. The soap doesn't burn like the cologne, but the scent matches very well.
I use it and like it, I just wish the scent lasted longer.... A real plus that I can find easily local....
