The rules of this PIF are simple and anyone can join.

The above kit is intended for someone who is interested in trying a traditional wet shave but doesn't have any gear yet. Try to think of a friend or family member who would like to try a traditional wet shave. Then make a post and let me know the name of the intended person.

Recently I introduced my best friend in Canada to wet shaving by getting him a nice starter setup by Muhle along with some other goodies. Sure, it was a nice present but the real gift was a lifetime of great shaves. He is now a dedicated wet shaver and he will remain so for the rest of his life. I was very happy to be a part of something that brings a little joy to his life each and every day.

The razor and brush have only been used a few times. The Weishi razor is a great started razor as it is very mild and the Tweezerman is a quite a good brush too. All of the other products are new.

As I was a bit late getting this PIF going, it will likely not be completed before Christmas. But, tell you what... I will try to choose the winner before Chrismas day.

Very nice PIF, I gave my friend my Weishi, a boar brush and some creams and blades...but he is a disappointment to the wet shaving gods. He shaves once a month and then he uses canned goo because he is too lazy to whip up some lather

 

I have a coworker (Adam) who just recently acquired a couple of his grandfathers razors. He is interested in using them but doesn't have any other gear. This is perfect for him. I'm in this PIF for Adam.

 

Once again a great PIF, Lyndon! I haven'g got my eye on anyone, so do't count me (them) in.

This is a great PIF. I'm not in, I entrusted my '74 Super Speed to my friend.

 

Count me in please! I got someone I would like to get started in on wet shaving as he asks me questions about it every few days. His name is Mark and he is one of the other artists in our tattoo shop. He is more of an upscale classy kinda guy so I could definitely see him putting aside the cartridges for a more dignified and better shave...especially since he already seems pretty interested. He told me himself he's thought about getting some stuff but never has.

 

Add me please. My good buddy Greg made a list of things to do to become more manly. One of these was to start shaving with a cartridge razor (used to use an electric). Been trying to get him into wet shaving and hes interested but is a broke college student. This would definitely be the kick he needs to get started. I would love to have a real life wet shaving buddy. Haha. Very generous PIF!

I've been working on converting my brother Jason. For months he thought I was nuts about wet shaving. I rotate between straight and DE razors, and he always questions me about it. As a brotherly bonding experience, I brought him to The Great Shave event in Chicago back in October. He was blown away by the seriousness and quality of the people that shave just like his older brother.

I've offered him the chance to borrow some of my gear, but he keeps shying away from accepting it. I'd love to just be able to gift him a bunch of stuff and have him over for some bourbon and shaving 101!

 

Count me in, trying to convince a friend to start. Brian needs to try so he can clear up ingrown hairs on his neck

 

As I have gotten more and more interested in DE razors so has my wife. I planned on buying her a weishi to start off with, so this set up would be really great for her. She complains about her razor constantly and can not wait to give DE razors a try. My wife is a nurse who works 12 hours a day, she deserves something nice to make for a more pleasant shaving experience. I'll enter this for my wife, Elizabeth.

 

Hey I'm a newbie on here I never used anything but a fusion or Mach I really need some shaving gear and this looks like a perfect start up kit
