Nice shave this morning. I think I'm going to try some one pass shaving for a while. My shaves have been so close I don't really need to shave daily. Normal for me is a two pass shave with touch ups. I honestly don't know if it's due to technique or my edges are better or both. I've always been able to get the degenerate bum look rather quickly if I don't shave daily. Have a good one.

Effortless great shave. All shaves should be this good and easy.

Todays shave! And this set up will be my daily shaves for at least the next 4 days maybe more. As me and the wife bought a new house and will be moving this week...I had to sadly pack away all my other shave supplies......but none the less I left the bare essentials that any man could ever need lol. So here she is in all her glory!! For those who have not tried it...the Pinaud splash compliments Arko very well IMO. Didnt get super smooth today as I have a tiny bit of irritation from my two recent attempts at ATG passes. So I had to cut my shave short today from my normal 4 passes down to 3. But still not a bad shave at all.

    Razor- Ej89
    Blade- Derby Extra (4)
    Brush- Semogue 1250
    Soap- Arko
    Aftershave- Pinaud Cubman Original

Went with an old time theme this morning. I really like this French OT razor. (a French knockoff of the Gillette Single Ring) It's a very user wore razor so there is a lot of history in this old trooper. The owner probably used this razor everyday of his long life and that personal connection is significant to me. It will be kept, used and cared for by me until it is passed on to my Son. There are probably a lot of stories that this old razor could tell. Great week of shaves Gents; thanks for sharing!

Arley, how does the Brut Attitude aftershave smell? Is it anything at all like the original? :)

Lloyd, I agree with you. My barber told me a shavette is the worst thing to learn how to shave with. Before I bought my Dovo Bismarck I asked him about a shavette, and he told me not to touch one! ;)

Boy this Feather is just amazing everytime I end up picking it up to shave. Still looking forward to the open comb baseplate for it though. Plisson. I need another. Looking at a size 12 White for some variety but these brushes are worth the price for me.

PReshave - Hot Shower, Nivea Face wash, Coconut oil
Cream - Real Shaving Co Moisturizing Shave cream
Brush - WHipped dog 24mm Silvertip
    Blade - Polsilver Super Iridium
    Razor - Shaving Factory DE
    A/S - Old Spice

No pic today but a nice shave. The Shaving Factory(ming shi) razor I picked up at my local Sally Beauty while the wife was in there looking for stuff. Give lots of audible feedback but was about as aggressive as my SS. I found that the lack of knurling made the razor slippery and it is a very light razor. Almost to light. but a three pass plus touchup BBS.
