The Herban Cowboy lather disappears and drys pretty quickly on my face. The lather is very slick, however, and makes for a fine shave if one does not tarry. Four passes - with the grain, across the grain, against the grain, against the grain - followed by a touchup pass resulted in a stellar shave. It was baby bottom smooth, without even the slightest hint of irritation, and one of the two best shaves I have ever had. It took a little work and time, but the results were well worth the effort. My face is still very smooth and feels so good nine hours later.

I was not expecting much from either the soap or blade. It just goes to show that in wetshaving empirical knowledge trumps theory.

Terrific shave today. My brother cut me off a chunk of his Vitos to try. It's awesome. I love almond scented soap and IMO this performed better than cella.

 

Yeah I did some research before putting together my first "setup" and TOBS seemed like the logical choice! I can't wait to try some of the other scents!
