Hello Ladies & Gentlemen, I'm wondering who makes the shaving soaps that are sold at TSD store? I tried my very first this morning (Cedar wood) and was extremely pleased! It immediately jumped up to be #2 in my current favorite list, right after Tabac. Although this is not quite a fair comparison, since Tabac is not a glycerin soap. Tabac's lubrication/protection is slightly better, but the scent of TSD soap is unbelievable! Beats Tabac by far! Whoever is responsible for the creation of this soap did a first class job! I just hope that TSD store will always have it in stock!
Guten Abend Klaus, Her Majesty JoAnna Queen of Blades makes the soap for TSD I just ordered some the other day. Damon
Klaus, You are right, they are one of the best, if not the best homemade soap I've used and I've tried plenty. She does indeed do a nice job!
Thanks guys! Yep, it is I, who makes TSD's soaps. I'm very happy to hear you have enjoyed the soap, Klaus!
JoAnna, I used the TSD Bay Rum for the first time today. I liked the way it loaded my brush, and with the correct amount of water in my lather bowl - woop there it is. Lots of real nice lather. Good job on this fine soap. Oh crap - my wife just caught me faceturbating.
The best deal around! Top notch quality at a bottom price! Hmmm..., maybe we shouldn't mention the price too often, ..., let's not put any ideas into her royal head!
Thank you, Jim! Always happy to hear from satisfied customers! Faceturbating is natural, and nothing to be ashamed of.
Jim, When your wife catches you in a compromising position like that...just tell her the truth. You can say "Honey, I was thinking about you". Men are such sensitive souls.......hehe. Glad to help, Martin
I read this post and went right over to buy some. The price is very reasonable, but the shipping.... it was calculated as $78. I'll shave dry.
Joe..... that cannot be right. I'm sure someone will address this during normal working hours. (I just handle the "night Shift")
Actually that probably is right. redorchestra is in South Korea, and we haven't had any problems with the shipping calculator lately. I'm sure sparky will look into it later anyway.
I got Peppercorn essencial oil shavesoap. It sounds like it will bea nice winter soap. What did you get?

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I just tried JoAnna's royal TSD shaving creme Cedarwood. I must admit, I'm not a creme user, but prefer soap. But this creme is the perfect match to my TSD Cedarwood shaving soap. Exactly the same scent, and it "turbo charges" the soap when used together. I think they call it "super lather", and rightly so! I even got a decent shave without any preparation, other than a splash of warm water, and lathering up before stropping the razor. An interesting experience! I'll certainly buy more of this creme, and the soap of course. Don't ever want to be without either of them. Good job, JoAnna! Thank you!
