I'm not crazy about it myself, maybe because I'm not that good at it. But I'll be a sport and have at it. Maybe by the time the week is over I'll be converted. I typically get awesome results from face lathering. I also typically bowl lather. Ill see if I can go a whole week and not slip. I may try to find a little glass dish to sit on top of my mug for an improvised scuttle.
What great timing. I was planning on using my Arko stick tomorrow and face lathering with it anyway. Looks like I'll be face lathering all week...
That's funny, I actually tried face lathering today and it wasn't half bad. I didn't even realize I'd be doing it all week until now.
OH BOY!!!! My Duke should be here by the last half of this, can't wait to try that puppy out. I also have my Silvertip Fibre but I bought a size more conducive to scuttle & bowl lathering.
Put my Vulfix Grosvenor to use this morning with a puck of AoS Lavender. So far I'm still preferring a bowl, but the week is still young.
I am typically a face latherer. The only time I don't is about 3-4 times a month when I use cream, and whip it up in the bowl. Monday: SOC & Proraso Green Tub
Used my EJ89/Weber BullDog razor and #6 Horse as usual,but my first time using an Arco stick to face lather. Face lathering with the stick, didn't really make either a thick lather or a lot of it. But the shave wasn't unpleasent and I got a DFS with no irritation. I'm looking forward to improvement in the coming week.....
Face Lathered today and I like the little bit of scrubbiness that I get from the best badger. Tomorrow face lather will be with my silvertip and I can't wait for it.
