A friend of mine told me Pitralon Classic has emerged somewhere in the local store. Of course being a big fan of the Croatian rip off to the Pitralon original (not the same as Pitralon classic) the Ralon. I had to try it, and the price is pretty low too (around 6$ per bottle) affordable even to the broke ones (a pic from somewhere on the internet ) I knew the scent is going to be different but expected at least some sort of similarity. And there is none. While Ralon (and allegedly Pitralon original aka. swiss Pitralon) smell of camphor, synthetic death and pears (in defense it smells great when it mellows down) the Classic has a more woodsy smell and pine, I guess cedar oil will do that to a AS. It is more lingering and tones down to a sweet and very pleasant smell. Smells manly It reminds me a bit of Irisch Moos, it's way different but something seems similar (maybe it's just the green ) although Pitralon is waaaaay more woodsy. All in all very classic as the name implies The skin care is great as expected, the menthol in it gives a nice cool that dissipates quickly and isn't very strong but it is noticeable, doesn't dry out the skin and soothes real nice I'm definitely keeping this one in rotation (I just hope the GF likes it )
I like it a lot too. Used my bottle till the end...now there is too much in my bathroom to test...so there is no place for that fine Pitralon Classic. But i will buy it again when i have more space.Garanteed!!!
Once I had the Swiss Pitralon aftershave. No menthol cooling but still a good feeling. A rather weird, but decent scent. (My wife didn't like it, but I don't think she likes too many of my aftershaves!)
Hahahahahaha, i know this Jeff. I like the scent too but my girlfriend told me to kick this one out... So I have to use it on these days when we ain't together. The skin feel is great even without the menthol. Maybe we should try it and add a tiny bit of menthol... This could be your new "every day" Aftershave Jeff...
I love the smell of swiss, at least I think I do they say it smell like Ralon, and that I like. But I don't know any women that do
