My first shave in almost a week.

Prep: Shower, TBS Tea Tree Face Wash.
    Brush: Vulfix Burlington Badger.
    Razor: Gillette Ball End Tech.
    Blade: Personna Lab.
    Soap: Mike's Natural Soap- Barbershop.
Post: Cold water rinse, Thayer's WH Rose Petal.

I have come to the conclusion that badger might be the way for me to go. It sucks because I really want to like boar brushes. Once again, Mike's saved the day. It glided right over the problem areas on my face and did so very gently. Now I just have to figure out what scent I will get from him next. No Floid Blue today. I'm going to the store and will buy some Aqua Velva to try out my experiment if witch hazel helps in minimizing the sting from aftershave splashes...

Floid Blue didn't sting my face when I put witch hazel on first, so maybe. I will keep you guys posted.

    1955 Schick Hydro-magic/EMS-Personna re-brand.d1
    Old Spice AS
    Acqua Di Parma Colonia

No time today..Had to do my fastest! So I bowl lathered and grabbed a quick 2 passes with my injector.Man absolute perfection:happy108:
That last injector blade was still going strong after countless shaves...unbelievable...But I did an arm-pit shave yesterday so I changed out blades today on principle...;)
And I still think Acqua di Parma must be what heaven smells like...Got a bottle for a New Years present...I'm loving it!! My all time favorite EdC...
Have a GREAT WEEKEND EVERYBODY !!

    Razor: Muhle R89
    Blade: Bic Platinum (2)
    Brush: Omega 10777
    Soap: Arko

Great 3-pass (WTG,XTG,ATG) shave today + little touch-up. R89 is very gentle razor, maybe like Slim on the 4 or 5,no need aftershave, only cold water :)

That's really small! Not even an inch of length! :p That's a tube per shave!

Just kidding of course. But at least I'll know what to ask if a friend of mine visits Egypt! :happy088:

    hot shower
Mr Glo Glyce Lime Oil Soap
    Mama Bear's Rosemary Mint (stick)
    Eversharp Hydro-Magic/Pella Coated Injector (7)

Got my first weepers of the 2013 shaving season,a tiny head weeper and another near my nose.I'll have to claim pilot error as the prep and lather were great, I still ended up with BBS and very little blood.

    #6 Horsehair
Ming Shi TTO/Sharp (I forgot which day)
Lea Menthol SC :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    444 AS Balsam :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

Go ahead guys, I know, I know, why not the Super Speed, right? :happy097: The truth is, it's been over a year or so since I last used the Ming Shi razor which I received from a friend of mine in the UK so I felt it was time to show it some love. It gave me a very good shave today - not exactly a BBS, but a very good DFS. The Sharp blade could have used a switching because I can't remember which day it was. The Lea Menthol cream delivered the lovely scent, awesome lather, and "25 below zero" menthol power which I love so much, and the Aqua Velva extended that freeze very nicely. ;) :D

Very nice shave this morning. I haven't used Haslinger shaving soap for a while and was reminded why it's one of my favorites. Great slick lather and very good post shave skin care. The scents aren't the most compelling but they're decent. Very good soaps, IMO. Have a good one.

It really is a small tube - only 60 grams, but just a small amount of cream is needed for a rich and good lather. I put a small dab on both cheeks, I wet the brush, and BOOM - the lather explodes. (and the cooling effect does also!) :D :happy102:

No photo today as I am on a trip in mid-state Oregon. The above items are from my Dopp Kit stash. Not as good as shaving at home for sure! Trying to see to straight shave in these hotel mirrors is a real challenge! lol

This makes me want to give mikes a try. How was the barber shop scent? I think it'll be my next purchase once I run work through out of MWF. Also, I do think the witch hazel helps lessen the sting of an AS splash. I also use a little less Aqua Velva.

I have a La Toja cream and stick and I definitely owe myself a shave with them because they're both terrific stuff. My problem is, I'm a menthol freak! :happy097:

Mike's is top notch. I've only tried Barbershop. It smells awesome. It's kind of a mix between modern and traditional. It has lanolin like MWF and is very good for your skin. I think the next one I'm going to try is bay rum, or unscented, or lime. It's also an awesome value because you get a pretty big bar. He also sells them in tins.

I have the sensitive version. The scent is out of this world. I should use it more, I always forget about it when I go shave.

I have the Regular which also smells great. Corinne also says it's got a nice scent. The stick has the exact same scent, and it lathers even better than the cream. Strange, yes?
