My father (now deceased), taught HS Social Studies and History except for his first year of teaching which was MS History. My mother was an elementary school teacher until I came along (in those days you had to quit when you "started show"). When I was in HS, she went back to teaching as a sub and later, in her "retirement," became a pre-school aid (which she still does). Oh, and there were a couple years that my father also taught AP History, which he didn't much care for as he thought the kids were really lazy.
Yeah, Dutch haute cuisine... not. But you might try "oude jenever" (old grain destillate). Looks like water, but be careful: there is a reason it's nicknamed "Dutch lunatic juice"!
Not to sound like an alcoholic, but I'm up for a new adventure in booze. lol. I wonder where I can get some around here. Tho I suspect a full bottle might not be the best idea. lol
Well, I heard from another genius today. Having failed, she couldn't see why "just because she was late with all her homework, failed one test and never submitted a report" that she shouldn't pass. BTW, she was also late for class daily and endeavored to convince me that she tried hard. This is clearly a use of the word "try" with which I was not previously acquainted.
You mean you don't pass students just because they r delusional or because they can'tuse basic vocabulary correctly?
I love when I order something with UPS Expedited shipping so it gets here by Friday - and it is still "Processing" 3 days later.
