  1. Hey Ryan....I'm afraid I going to refrain from being a destination on this tour for the same reason I did on the first tour....I just know it would break my heart to say good-bye at the end of those two weeks...I don't need to try it to know it's shave is exemplary...and if both those rascals were here.....lmao....the only way that bake-lite would leave is if it was broken when it arrived...:happy102:...But thanks for remembering me....you da man...

  4. Thanks Man....I remember that ad.....at the time I thought it was a gimmick...Now I know it was very hip...maybe too hip for the room...:happy097:
Sure wish I had picked up a couple and kept them....If I had pick one up I would have seen how cool it really is. I mean, they are selling the 'look how safe it is, thing...But what I dig is how that switch protects the blade when you throw it in the shaving bag....;)

Alot of things about Schicks were too cool for shavers to believe....Like I thought the Schick 'Grip' that looked like a tennis racquet was a gimmick...there again a really great shaver, with a great grip...:happy096:...The repeaters were too futuristic and ahead of their times...The Hydro-magic looked like a gimmick, so they eventually droppped the idea...but what a great idea, I love mine...:love055:

Thanks again for the ad....anyone with these old Schick ads...lets see em...they're great!!

O man, I need this. I am an avid tennis fan, and actually have a collection of the top 10 "best" racquets ever made, most of which are vintage. This is just right up my alley.

  7. You're not kiddin' you need this...if you don't have this racquet.....I mean...this is the Cat's Meow of racquets.... .....and its a great shaver....

  8. So I managed to score a Schick Grip off the bay, came with some blades too. Came to $30.89 total with shipping. Excited to try out an injector and a SE for that matter. Even if I don't like the shave I wanted to have this one as a collectors item.

  9. That's very cool. Stay away from the backhand though. You should get great shaves.:signs021:

  13. I want a picture of the Schick Grip mounted on the wall of Racquets...lol...We need that pic here at the Injector & SE Party...That'll liven things up around here...
  14. I can make that happen.:bounce015:
  15. :happy096:
  16. I bought a shick band razor off e-bay any blades available for it?
  17. No luck at finding blades for it.But blades should be here tomorrow for the other razor I got in the lot ;)
  18. Used a Gem today. Not sure which one. Gold plated, says Ever-Ready on the back and has a design on the handle. Looks like this one: [IMG]
Holy Moley what a good shave! It must be the thicker blade or something. I had a close, clean, irritation free shave, and it was fast and easy too. Goodbye double edge, hello single edge! :bounce017: To bad I just bought 100 DE blades hahaha.

  19. That's good to hear. I've got a GEM now but haven't got around to picking up any blades for it. I need to try that thing out pretty soon.
