What are you eating and/or drinking today?

Yoats (steel cut oats mixed with yogurt) for breakfast. Surprisingly good and filling.

 

Breakfast : freshly baked rolls, soft-cooked eggs, marzipan, apple/pear spread, juice.

Afternoon (no lunch): chocolate / cherry cake

Dinner: baked chicken, apple sauce, rice or French fries.

Drinks during the day: tea, tea, tea, tea, tea and tea (and perhaps some tea in between)

Conclusion: we're not starving today!

 

And for that may we be truly, humbly thankful!

Honey nut Cheerios w/ soy milk. Super Bowl Sunday, so I'll be eating some good food later today.

 

Just had some sushi for lunch with miso soup and now I'm back at my desk with a nice hot green tea

 

Looking forward to really good leftovers tonight- pasta with pesto sauce & hot sausage.

 

Dinner tonight was braised steak with carrots, peas, and buttered new potatoes, with a few chunks of crusty French bread , dessert was Greek yogurt with honey and toasted flaked almonds. Delicious!!!

 

Looking forward to General Tso's chicken tonight. It's Chinese new year.

 

Making some Chicken Veggie soup for dinner today.

 

For Valentine's Day, Hubby made chicken in Champagne sauce. Not even remotely good for you, but oh, so yummy!

 

Tonight who knows, but tomorrow it's rabbit time
I don't know which way I'll prepare it but I have a feeling it's gonna be good

 

I'm having fish tonight, I'm just not sure how it'll be fixed. I'm eating out and my friend is a fantastic cook, so no worries for me.

 

Rich, can you have fish, when it's Elmer season?

 

It turns out it's rabbit marinated in red wine, tomato sauce, onion and black pepper with paprika and oven roasted potatos

 

It was the lightest fish and chips you've ever tasted.

 

Wife came back from a week outta town so we went to Max and Erma's for the first time. Not bad, had worse.

 

Not for today, although I made it today, Pasta drying out ready tomorrow.

 

Just bought a couple of swordfish steaks and a salmon steak, now it's time to pull out my Weber cookbooks and find a good recipe.
