Breakfast : freshly baked rolls, soft-cooked eggs, marzipan, apple/pear spread, juice. Afternoon (no lunch): chocolate / cherry cake Dinner: baked chicken, apple sauce, rice or French fries. Drinks during the day: tea, tea, tea, tea, tea and tea (and perhaps some tea in between) Conclusion: we're not starving today!
Dinner tonight was braised steak with carrots, peas, and buttered new potatoes, with a few chunks of crusty French bread , dessert was Greek yogurt with honey and toasted flaked almonds. Delicious!!!
For Valentine's Day, Hubby made chicken in Champagne sauce. Not even remotely good for you, but oh, so yummy!
Tonight who knows, but tomorrow it's rabbit time I don't know which way I'll prepare it but I have a feeling it's gonna be good
I'm having fish tonight, I'm just not sure how it'll be fixed. I'm eating out and my friend is a fantastic cook, so no worries for me.
It turns out it's rabbit marinated in red wine, tomato sauce, onion and black pepper with paprika and oven roasted potatos
Wife came back from a week outta town so we went to Max and Erma's for the first time. Not bad, had worse.
Just bought a couple of swordfish steaks and a salmon steak, now it's time to pull out my Weber cookbooks and find a good recipe.
