Nice PIF, but don't count me in. I counted my razors this morning and I have 14, but only one is less than 40 years old.

Does one actually own a razor or does the razors own the person when it comes to RAD? :D Iam out due to me having my grand fathers and my dads sitting besides one I got.

I'm in. I only own an Edwin Jagger DE86, which is a pretty nice razor, but not at all what I expected. For whatever reason I thought that it would be about an inch and a half longer than it actually is--I blame this on only ever having seen cartridge razors, which are all about the same size. In spite of this, I adapted and found that its diminutive size actually makes it easier to use. It works well and looks nice, but seeing as I have only ever used this one (and my wife's Razorock Mirrored Pole once or twice just to try it out) I really have nothing to compare it to.

If jabberwalk turns out to be the only den member with one razor I'll allow one de and one shavette lol won't be any fun with one entrant. So u guys might still be entered. I honestly didn't expect to find anyone with only one and was figuring on having to do a rule change haha. I started a lil over a month ago and already have 3. ;)

Very cool PIF! I'm in, but would def be up for opening eligibility as Mike suggested since I know pups like to have options :)

Meet "Foxy Roxy" -- Isn't she blingerific?!
    image.jpg

Birth Name: Razorock TTO, mirrored pole handle.
Alias: Cadet TTO-13, checkered pole handle
    Birth Year: 2012

Measurements: 10.1 cm tall. A curvy gal with handle circumference of 4.5 cm at the ends of the barber pole.

Best Features IMHO: Beautiful figure, long handle great esp for leg shavers, nice balance, heavy handle = no pressure needed, textured grip = great in the shower, TTO convenience, price (~$20).

Drawbacks: I have no complaints & would repurchase. Potential issues for others-- solid handle may be too heavy for some users, esp coming from cartridge razors or slimmer long handled razors like The Lord L6, TTO cleaning may take longer than a 3-piece DE.

Compatibility: Foxy Roxy enjoys long showers in the company of a Lord Platinum or Astra SP blade. Looking forward to trying out an international sampler. Will soon partner with a 100-ct Astra SPs (both en route).

    The end.

Are those your personal dislikes of the razor? Be specific ie if u had to do it all over again would you have purchased a lighter razor?

Oops, I should have been more clear. The above are my personal likes, but the drawbacks section are potential ones I thought others should know about. I will edit that in my post.

I have zero complaints about my Foxy and would happily repurchase. I learned to shave with a Lord L6, which was great, but I murdered it with a drop in the shower (stone floor). RIP L6, you were great for many moons, but too light & slippery for this clutz :(

The Rzorrock Jaws OC, the same razor is also marketed under the Cadet name, and some other brands I don't know :D
It's a rather hefty beauty with a pretty slim and long handle, the chrome finish is awesome, on the level of much more expensive razors, and it ists in the hand wonderfully. The shave is rather agressive and joined with the Astra SP gives me at least a DFS every time. There was some bloodshed in the begining and a weeper every now and then but it is a wonderfull razor for the lowest price out there (14$ plus shipping if I remember right), and I would recomend it to anyone out there wanting to try out a fairely aggressive open comb on a budget.

    My first (and only) razor:

Merkur 34C with an olive wood handle with a matching 22mm silvertip brush.

I like the 34C, it's been very forgiving as I have learned how to use a DE over the past month (although it really doesn't seem that complicated as long as you make sure that you only touch blade to face if there's lather...)

The weight is good and I like the handle length. It is much shorter than I expected, but I was used to cheapo disposables. The Merkur blade that came with it was pretty o.k., but I have since switched to Astra SP's which I love.

My only dislike is that my wife likes it so much that I will have to get her a DE as well...

Oh, another dislike is that I think this will end up costing more as the collector in me gets in gear!
