• AS: Mennen Skin Bracer Cool Spice
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, splash of aftershave.

A great way to start a Monday...I never get a bad shave from the Mergress, even on the third use of the SuperMax SP. An effortless, smooth shave.

This is one of the most fabulous and frigid face-freezing set-ups a menthol lover like me can plan because each item is around equally as cold. The Gatsby Ice Cooling facial wash begins the iciness, and then a shave with the Ice & a Slice reinforces it, the Diana Sport intensifies it significantly, and the Barbon aftershave adds a final powerful arctic chill. That's the secret to a Cracky Wacky Ticky Tacky Menthol Monday Shave!

• Razor: Merkur 37C HD Slant Bar
• Blade: SuperMax Super Platinum (1)
• Brush: Semogue Cherrywood SOC Boar
• Soap: Proraso Shave Menthol and Eucalyptus with added menthol
• ASB: Nivea for Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm (old formula)
• AS: Mennen Skin Bracer
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, splash of aftershave

The SuperMax SP really performed well in the 37C...I do not think any blade is going to perform bad in it to be honest. I just love it, best razor purchase that I have made so far.

I do not understand the fear of this razor, I do not even know how I could cut myself with it. It is mild on your skin, yet efficient in the amount of stubble that is reduced.

Tomorrow I am going to take a break from it and use something else...but I really do not want too

You read it right. I tried something really new for me. After putting some splash on my face I just dropped some drops of M-Bomb right to my palm and applied the M-Bomb directly to my face. Ohhhh, YES! Seems I discovered a totally amazing finisher for my MENTHOL shaves!

I prepared the "heavy artillery" for tomorrow's shave, and I'm looking forward to some great freezing. The Balkan version of Palmolive Menthol cream goes on frigidly especially washing your face with this super-icy Gatsby facial wash. The 444/Barbon duo are terrific at keeping the "twenty below zero" feeling going for most of the day!

• Post: Cold Water Rinse, double splash of aftershave

Another great shave with the Merkur 37C HD. The Polsilver Stainless is such a great blade, I just hate that Gillette in their infinite wisdom decided to pull production from Poland and move it to Russia and that these blades will no longer be produced.

A very nice and cool shave today.

Applying some drops of M-Bomb (old formulation) after AS splash becomes my favorite finish of the shave for Menthol Mondays! Seems like I found my ideal Uber-Menthol set up and just don't want to change anything. As long as I supplied with ISZ and M-Bomb, of cause!

This is one of the coldest set-ups a menthol freak can possibly enjoy - all these items deserve the symbol for a very good reason, which is because they all freeze the face like the Arctic. The Gatsby facial wash has a great lemony/sporty scent and as soon as you apply it, the iciness begins. The Permafrost stick is ALMOST as cold as Iced Subzero, and the Diana Sport balsam can out-freeze the Penguin and the Rubby Dubby Dub!
