So I bought some CVS branded Brut type AS the other day, what can I say it was on clearance, abd after wearing it last night I can tell I am not a Brut kinda guy. Not sure what it is I don't like but, it just is not for me. Anyone like or wear it often? Looking to try some bay rum, just need to decide on a brand to try.
I like the CVS brand aqua velva, never really like Brut though. I can remember growing up and always seeing a bottle in my parents bathroom cabinet.
I don't ever remember trying Brut, thought I would give it a go. I like the Barbasol Brisk from the dollar store and the Nivea Energy Splash seems ok too.
Drew, it's PIF month. Might be a good time to pass it along. Since scent preferences are very individual, someone else may love it.
Too bad about the Brut because it's one of my favorites. As far as Bay Rum, I use VIBR and just finished a bottle Ogallala and will recommend both.
Going to check with a couple of my buddies, If they aren't interested it will be going up in a pif. I have a few items stashed back and getting ready, just wanting to get a few more pieces to go with them.
Might I suggest Krampert's? Fantastic stuff. Captains Choice is nice too, but Krampert's rises above!
I love Brut. My wife says it makes me smell like me. And Brut antiperspirant/deodorant is all I use to keep the pits dry and odor free.
Brute was one of my very first colognes. To me, I thought it was a cheap kinda of a smell then and now. Will not ever wear again
I've used 4 BayRums so far LustRay,Stevens,Pinuad and Masters. So far I think I prefer the Stevens and Pinaud best! The good part about these BayRums is they are inexpensive and in some places the Pinuad and Masters can be found locally. Check Indepedent Drugstores, Walgreens,Walmart and Sally's Beauty Supply for a start.....
I have a bottle if brut that I use every now and then. I notice Walmart has brut dominant and been thinking about getting it...
My wife's father had a bottle of Brute that he hadn't used in 20 or 30 years...It was just sitting there asking for trouble...So I grabbed it and splashed.....Oppps...guess I'm not a Brute kind of guy either... I speck this guy is gonna set for another 20 or 30 years... But I do love Old Spice with a passion...Does that mean you are either an Old Spice or a Brute kind of person?? Well just cause it doesn't work for me, I can see where it could work for some, and I will defend anyone's right to dig it...you dig?
Here's an interesting article on Bay Rum,it even has recipes for the DIY person. http://artofmanliness.com/2010/01/21/diy-bay-rum-aftershave/
