    Saturday's shave, March 9, 2013

    Schick E2 Injector with Schick blade (3)
    Semogue 1250 boar bristle brush,
    Arko shaving soap with hot water lather,
    finish with cold water rinse for a DFS!

    Back to Arko in a ramekin dish - a personal favorite of mine! :)

    Superb shave with proven set up. I found that I still don't want to change anything. Now I can really see how our fathers could shave with one razor/brush/soap/splash set up all their life...

    I was quite annoyed that I couldn't use my Dovo Bismarck this morning because my brother-in-law needs my help to do some spring cleaning, so I had to settle on the Super Speed/7 AM combination which still worked very well for me in spite of it being a quick shave. Oh, did you guys notice that I didn't use any menthol stuff? It's because I grabbed the first cream in front of me. It doesn't really matter because the Palmolive Classic is fabulous. ;) :D

    Very nice shave this morning. I haven't used this razor in a long time, it needed a set of scales. It's a Bavu (French) brass frameback I picked up in Minnesota a couple of years ago for $6 or $7. I really like shaving with this type of razor. It makes me wonder why anyone would bother with hollow grinding. Have a good one.

    It was an amazing 3 pass shave this morning! It was fantastic! There were 2 things I wanted on my birthday, the first was a great shave and the second was a big glass of orange juice that has extra pulp! I got both!! ;)

    Started off with a very long soak in my bath tub with about a half hour hot towel treatment. 3 pass shave.

    My girlfriend bought me the razor.Normally she isn´t interested in my "shaving-thing"...but once a day she told me:

    "Close your eyes and give me your hand"...and think what i have held in hands...this beautiful little thing.:happy093:
