I like JoAnna's soap more every day. Lathering it right on the puck seems to be the ticket. It's given me some nice thick lather that's slicker than anything I've tried so far. Highly recommended. The lanolin leaves my face feeling great all day too.

 

I don't see Gingers Garden talked about much, just used the Sandalwood soap this morning and it is absolutely great! Loaded a very wet brush for about 20 seconds and went straight to the face, Had easily 4 passes, probably more but I squeezed out the "super stuff" form the breach for my last j-hook pass.

I love this soap, I think it may be the best Glycerin soap I've used.

Edit: Didn't see the previous dicussion about Gingers. Doah. Pay attention man!

Great soap!! Scent is awesome, mild but there. Lather is exceptional, and the shave was great!!

I started with a very wet Badger brush and loaded for 20 seconds, had plenty of soap in the brush for 4+ passes of face lathering. Maybe give it some more water?

 

Yesterday was Tabac, today is Speick stick.

 

Today was TSD Malachite,great lather,great scent,great shave

 

Friday - AoS Lavender

 

Saturday-Arko stick,I had to get a Arko shave in there for soap week

 

Being primarily a soap user, this week was nothing out of the ordinary here.

Klar Kabinett with a special appearance one day by Arko shave stick.

 

Still using the TSD limited run soap and loving it! I ended up doing 6 passes today. Started out with my new Gem Feather Weight and an ASR carbon blade. Not sure if I got a bad blade but it tugged worse than a Derby. I stuck it out for 2 passes but it just wasn't working. So I put a blade in my also new Schick Hydro-Magic and started over since my beard wasn't reduced much at all yet. The Hydro-Magic is wonderful. It felt so nice and smooth that I did 4 passes and got a great BBS on my face and even my jawline. Really close to BBS on my neck too.

 

Sounds delicious..try not to snack on it eh..

Thanks I'll check it out. Right now I'm working on a bar of Hugo Naturals Fruit Punch..I think they call it. It's a scented glycerin base that smells a lot like a bunch of jelly candies. The scent could have been inspired by Dr Who...

 

Only if the soap jar is bigger on the inside than the outside.

Sunday, what I believe to be the best soap for your buck - VDH.

 

I meant to use some VDH this week but can't quit using the TSD with lanolin.
