You can only do so much with 110v AC, or is that the gasoline-powered version?

No it ran on one of those antique undercarriage fusion reactors you see up on Ebay every now and then...

I'm betting they'll do the same as with the other multi-doctor episodes (The Three Doctors, The Five Doctors, etc...) I like Smith more than Tennant, which isn't saying much since I strongly disliked Tennant at the end of his run. The tennis shoes with the suit always irritated me. Smith's bow tie and silly gibberish (timey wimey stuff) is working its way up my do not like list, though.

I'm waiting to see if they get Eccleston back for this 50th anniversary. That would be really, really cool. For that matter, it would be nice if they'd bring in McCoy for some continuity with the previous series. And while they're at it, do a retcon that erases the T.V. movie from the official canon. Paul McGann's a fine actor but man that movie stunk.

Funny, because Smith's floodwater skinny pants (2 strikes there) and either boots or dress shoes with no socks irritates the hell out of me. ditto the bowtie.

oh, and agreed about the too young issue, too. I've been watching lots of the Hartnell era Who. I've grown very fond of the crotchety and forgetful old guy that was the original Doctor. I also miss Hartnell and Troughton's academic regalia- the Doctor is so much cooler in an academic gown.

If they go any younger we'll have a teenager for a Doctor in the next regeneration. Eesh.
