Where did the Hydrogenated Castor Oil go? It used to be part of the ingredients but now when I check multiple websites this is what I get for ingredients. Water, SD Alcohol 40, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance, Menthol, Benzoic Acid, FD&C Yellow No. 5, FD&C Blue No. 1. Is it a possibility that Colgate changed the formula of Skin Bracer Original?
Well, it's official, the formula really has been changed. I checked some bottles on the store shelf today and Hydrogenated Castor Oil is no longer listed as an ingredient. What a shame.
why can't they leave a good thing alone? Do you think if we got everyone on the shaving fourms to sign a petition and forward to OS, menen or e-mail them do you think they might consider changing back?
I'm sure the cost while miniscule on an individual basis, amounts to alot of money for Colgate on a national level..Why would Colgate care anymore about their customers than Gillette both are only in it for the money..Makes it easier to use Barbasol "Brisk" or a store brand since the ingredients are basically the same anyway, you can just shop for the cheaper price between them... If you honestly want Colgate to bring back the original formula, just quit buying "Skin Bracer" for a little while. If most users would do that as well as email Colgate the original would be back in stores in 6 months to a year, just as soon as Colgate felt the sting... While we're talking about it, I wish I could get "Fruit of the Loom" to bring back snap fly boxers,instead of those &%#** button fly!!! I ABSOLUTELY "HATE" button fly... !!!!! I've emailed them several times with "NO" response.."Nice to be on top".
I was a fuit of The Loom guy untill Hanes no rise boxer briefs. No buttons, no snaps, no worries Most comfotable things i have worn in a long time.
This is very off topic, but I saw an old article from 1946 about Mennen Skin Bracer Shave Cream. That must have been a real face freezer. I'll see if I can find it again.
I have a large hoard of the now discontinued Skin Bracer Blue. To me, is smells a lot like Speick, and also has the castor oil, but it also has propylene glycol...? It smells great, is very soothing, and moisturizing. I do not like the smell of the green stuff. My Gramps used it, I guess he liked it, but no green for me!
