I have had my sights on these since I realized heavy adjustable Gillette razors were perfect for me. I didn't think I would own one because price was out my range and they are pretty limited. The other day walked in an antique mall because had a little time to kill and there it was. This has been my grail razor ever since I found out it existed. Now....Who can tell how and what to polish gold razors with?

That's a really fine score you have there. I'm not sure about polishing a gold plate. You might want to be careful with polishes that are abrasive..And no..it's not the end of your RAD my friend..it's only the beginning..lol...

Nice find Look at Walmart for gold polish near the cleaning stuff, or at an auto zone type store for metal polish that works on gold. Then you can get a gold cloth from Walmart, connoseuir is the brand name.
Wow, what a find! Congratulations! Right now my holy grail is a Gillette Fat Boy. I want want one, but can't spend right now on a razor. Doesn't matter what condition as long as it shaves. Told my wife to please consider it for my birthday in September.
You Lucky Dog... on your find!! Polish it VERY gently...Heck I'd be saving up starting now to get it replated... If this has actually cured your R.A.D. you have my condolence's.. Life just ain't worth living with out R.A.D.,S.B.A.D.,R.B.A.D.,A.S.A.D. etc. Hopefully one of your other A.D.'s will kick in now....

And WeeperWarrior.....congratulations....that does seem to have holy grail written all over it...wishing you many great shaves my man.....and I agree with the scrubbing bubbles suggestions....and a soft tooth brush....and still be gentle.....you could probably use a little whittening tooth paste aswell....
