Ok, yesterday I received a package from alpha444 with some Polish goodies. This cream was in that bundle. I put everything in my "rotation" on hold just to try this out today. It might too early to tell, but the results were pretty good. Price: 10/10. It was free for me, but in Poland this stuff sells for pennies. Quality: 9/10. It's pretty good, considering that you have to pay so little for it. Scent: 10/10. It smells like fresh lemons that just came off the tree. Latherability: 9/10. It requires a good amount of water, but it's worth it. Efficacy: 9/10. The lather was pretty slick and plentiful. I had more than enough. Moisturizing Properties: 8/10. I just got done shaving with it, so it might be too early to tell. My face feels pretty smooth and doesn't feel dried out. It was pretty gentle judging by first impressions. Would I buy this again?: If I could find it, yes. I might have to go to Poland or have my source send me some more. I strongly suggest you get some of this if you can get your hands on it. If you don't like it, you won't be out of any money at all. But I doubt you will dislike it. I don't know if I like this more than Wars, but Lider is still a solid contender.
Lider and WARS are both well known over at that badger place and they get high marks over there as well.
Ryan, Lider Classic is the one you have. It's a very, very honest performer and indeed it's very reasonably-priced in Poland. It has good skincare as well, although to me anyway, the Wars is one inch ahead in that department. Your review is super-accurate!
Jeff thank you for making that clear to everyone. I didn't realize there was more than one Lider til now. And I love it! But you are right, Wars is barely ahead of Lider. Nonetheless, they are both very good.
I tried the Lider Sport version which has exactly the same lather as the Classic, but to me the Classic smells nicer and seems a little more soothing. The Lider Classic and/or the Wars will make you win every time you shave!
