Broke out the Schick type E injector now that I have some blades for it. Some hold up with the blade injection but eventually succeeded in loading a new blade.

    Proraso pre
    Omega 37 Boar
    Mike's Hungarian Lavender
    Schick Type E Injector
    Thayer's Peach
    Acqua Di Parma ASB

Nice result. The injector - very easy to use. Another razor to add to the rotation!

If you got the Personna blades in the plastic injector magazine, they are a pain to load. The Schick injector blades in the metal magazine load much easier.

Arko does indeed need some water, just like William's, although vintage William's needs much less water and work as the current version. Get the Arko dialed in where it needs to be and there is a very good chance you will abandon all other soaps or creams.

At one point, I hated Arko, Williams, and MWF... Now, however, these are my faves, but only because I figured out how to make them work for me.

I remember that and received a gratis puck of mwf. I've grown tired of Arko and started using it as shower soap. I think I still have 10 sticks or so.

First shave with the OCMM. Aggressive? You betcha! Smooth? Yep! Blood? No! So I give it a \m/. :git:

I'm starting to like the Axe Chilled/Aqua Velva combo. Face always feels awesome afterward.

youngunn Where's my TSD aftershave balm???

    SOTD Friday:

    Late night shave.

    Prep: Hot water splash
    Razor: 1946 Aristocrat
    Blade: Super-Max Titanium (6th shave)
Cream: TOBS Sandalwood & Jack Black Luxurious Shave Cream
    Brush: AOS pure badger
Shave: 4 passes and buffing on jawline
Post: hot water, Thayer's Rose Witch hazel, cold water splash, Clubman Splash, iced Nivea Sensitive balm
    Pomade: Murray's Super Light
    Cologne: Burberry London

Couple things: Jack Black shave cream doesn't lather. Tried a sample from Sephora. Should've done better prep. A little bit hot on the neck, no irritation just hot. I love the Burberry London, great scent. New pomade, Murray's Super Light, is awesome and smells like coconut due to the coconut oil in it.

    Night everyone.

    Saturday
    Pre: Hot shower

    Razor: Gillette Black Tip SS
Blade: Persona Blue (3) and 3 passes
    Post: Cold Water Rinse

Great shave. The TOBS lathered well and had a mild lemon-line scent, the scent isn't one of my favorites though.

Our damn weather turned chilly again so I backed off the menthol a little, but the Tet-a-tet cream is still cooling enough for it to be felt and enjoyed. Its matching balsam is even colder and it gives wonderful protection against dryness and irritation. This terrific shave was made possible by a very special friend! Спасибо мой брат! ;) :D
