Bringing out my brush at parties...

I've shown my whole collection to everyone who comes over. We don't have a lot of guests ever, but I've shown it to anyone who dares enter my house

If you've never been to an AoS, do it. They are pretty closed minded to anything they don't sell, to the point they try to make you think that better equipment won't do the job due to the lack of not having their brand on it.They kinda pretend that they don't know of the vintage market and that Merkur is the only game in town. But, you get to handle their stuff before you consider purchasing and their lemon aftershave is probably the best smell on the planet.

 

AoS should carry slants. I'd like to hold a 37c and 39c before choosing.

I prefer to fondle and admire my brushes in private...

 

and to think I used " it's more economic" as one of my reasons for going to wet shaving.......oye!

 

We've all used that reason, I mean, uh, fallen for that excuse. lol.

 

So tell the truth...... when you're sitting at home alone watching a video with your brushes and maybe a couple safety razors or just a private date with your favorite brush or razor....and then some friends drop by...Do you put the brushes and razors up before letting them in??

I don't know, the charges for whipping it up in public might be more severe than whipping it out ! Good thing they're made of badger hair and not beaver!
