I found this at my favorite Flea Market. I am not a big SE guy know very little about them.
Is this a Lather Cather? What years were these made? Is the blade angle roughly the same as all Ever Ready style SE razors? 2013-04-22 18.20.06.jpg

Yup, lather catcher. Nice find. Unfortunately I can't help with the date. As for the angle, it's like any other razor you use for the first time - you have to find what woks for you. Enjoy! I really like my Gem Jr. LC.

I'd love to find one of those in the local flea market (even though I don't care for SE razors). :)
I just think that lather catchers are quite elegant in design.

I'm not positive, but I think it's 1912. Great razor! My experience with my Gem Lather Catcher (identical head) is the angle is similar to the other SE's, perhaps
a bit flatter on your face. I find is more aggressive than the other SE's, even the OCCM.

Hardly a guru! I agree with Dslaar9 I think it's the one that was sold between 1912-1914. I initially thought it was the earlier one that was made from 1911-1912 but I believe the wording on the back of the frame was different. Does it have a stropping attachment that pulls out of the handle?

I don't think so but haven't pulled on the bottom of the handle. All I see at the bottom is threads.

Well.......I'll be darned. I went and pulled on the handle and out popped the stropping attachment. You see that is why you are the guru!
