Oh I get a double dog dare and taunting? It's on! Ok, not really my pic is kind of lame...but anyway. I face lather, so all I can show is the glob of KMF mint cream I slapped on my Thater this morning. I probably could have shaved the whole board with that wallop.
I was lathering Godrej cream for the first time, I put the normal amount of cream I usually use and this happened. The bowl is about 5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. I could have shaved all week with this cream.
I'm so glad you guys posted pics Here's another one with a new cream called Solo (the pic is a repost post from the review, but it seemed appropriate to post here also)
All these shots of overly-lathered, voluminously-sculpted, glistening tributes to excessive amalgamation have left me thoroughly intimidated and with a disturbing sense of...lather-envy! In light of these photos, I hereby vow to allocate a greater ration of my shaving time a whippen' the dickens' outta my shave soap. Pics to come...
This picture makes me hungry ...Not sure why since I don't even like whipped cream. Clearly I'm one sick puppy Lather copiously & often, my friends!
*gasp* Careful, Lather Lord...one day you may find a tsunami o' scented suds bearing down on you. ... Hmm, does The Knight Bus stop in Croatia?!
I cant really answer that question since my lather lordship is not familiar with that term. But my spidey sense is tingeling
Minor discussion point. I'm pretty sure that most people use the term uberlather to refer to lather that is a superlather PLUS glycerin. In other words, soap/cream/glycerin combined would be "uberlather." To my knowledge there is no name for a lather made from either a soap or a cream with just glycerin added to it.
Okay, this morning I whipped up an überlather batch that came out really nice. Not hyper-grandiose in peaks nor daunting to handle, but still an overly-thick lather that came as close to rich cake frosting as I've achieved. Felt so good I hated to waste the 3rd of a bowl I had remaining after 3-4 passes... "Single scoop, please. No sprinkles!"
Lookin' good! I take that leftover 3rd of a bowl and put it on my face and let it sit while I clean up the area. Some soaps and creams have ingredients that are beneficial to your skin, so I let 'em soak in. Granted, some soaps and creams may not have these beneficial ingredients, but, since I don't really care if they do or not, I enjoy the soak and great smells anyway! Makes me feel like I haven't wasted anything.
