It's amazing..I've just checked the latest threads and a group of topics were in order as follows..beer, bacon, lunch, pizza, cigars, bread..how's your day and last but not least..coffee..

The first of the month is always busy. Today was no expectation. It has a great day. My daughter sent my birthday and father's day gift early. She sent me a selection of new spices for me to cook with. I have cooked professionally and now I do it for fun.
My daughter loves Scooby-Doo and the gang. I have rewatched every episode of the classic series as a result- except for the scrappy doo stuff. And I mean everything. We've even watched the extended celebrity episodes. (Scooby Doo meets batman, scooby doo meets Jonathan Winters, Scooby Doo meets the Globetrotters...) Thankfully, the scrappy doo seasons have not been released on dvd or I would be much less sane than I am now.
Willie the Piggy spent the weekend with my folks. I neglected to tell them that Willie's learning puppy commands, so they thought W. was having a seizure when she suddenly keeled over & started flailing (the porky one needs to build momentum in order to roll ). Apparently the hussy spontaneously stop-drop-and-rolled all weekend to beg for treats. *sigh* I told her to knock it off or we'll need the name of Gunnar's Phat Camp
Well, today's a good day. I turned 44 and a don't feel a day over 43. They tell me that I can still pass for 41 or 42. rofl.
Ahh, the answer to the age-old riddle...what's black and white and 44 all over.....errr, nevermind, Happy Birthday!
okay, so I've been having issues with my eyes. Two weeks ago it was some kind of nasty infection in my left eye. On Monday I started noticing some irritation in both eyes. It's super dry and dusty here, so this is a normal state of being. Long story short, that irritation turned into eye watering, light sensitive, throbbing pain. Went to the doctor and the opthamologist. It's another eye infection, and I have a scratch on the cornea of my left eye. Got eye drops and started to see results with the first dose. Praise be to God, things are finally getting better!
Yowsa! Corneal scratches hurt like heck. Can't imagine what it feels like in the setting of the two infections . Wishing both peepers a swift recovery!
