Injector Wednesday CeraVe face wash Prairie Creations unscented soap Custom silvertip brush Schick injector, type "G" Schick blade Cold rinse CeraVe lotion After the irritation I had Monday with my "I" injector, I was careful this morning with the more aggressive "G": took my time with face prep and moved slowly with no pressure. The shave went well. Three passes, no irritation and a very smooth face.

Wet Wednesday 1. Hot shower with hot towel to face for about 1.5 minutes (in a rush this morning!) 2. Pumped out & applied a nickel-sized pool of my homemade pre-shave oil (see here: http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/how-to-make-your-own-pre-shave-oil.31132/page-4#post-585504 3. Tried a NEW soap: Provence Sante Green Tea 4. Gillette Fat Boy again with yesterday's new Astra 5. Identical follow-up as Tuesday's procedure (4771 aftershave, Pre de Provence balm) The new PS oil felt great on the face. Really slick with a subtle bergamot/clove scent! I was almost tempted to simply shave with NO lather, but wanted to try the new soap. The Provence soap smelled nice enough, and generated a rich, creamy lather that coated my face beautifully. Good stuff! It's a nice change from the wool fat.
SOTD Wednesday 6-5-2013 FaTip Piccolo/Weber Wave Astra Superior Platinum Blade Proraso PSC Old Spice Original SC GT G4 Scuttle Omega Boar Dickinson's Witch Hazel Nivea Replenishing ASB Old Spice Classic ASL I have not been happy at all with the little FaTip Piccolo's performance in the past. (It tends to want to eat my face; very unfriendly!) I love the FaTip Grande's performance so it's just got to be that skinny little handle that is the culpret. Problem is; the Piccolo head has a different thread than most any other razor on the planet! I swapped around and found that it fits on the Weber Wave (and Weber Bulldog) handles (however, the Piccolo handle will not fit on anything else.) At any rate, I love the look of the FaTip head on the Weber Wave handle and I think the extra thickness, length and heft of the Weber Wave handle will bring this little demon under control. I haven't shaved yet so; the proof is in the pudding as they say. I'll edit results later today after I shave. Edit: BINGO! Problem solved! The Weber Wave handle gave control of the Piccolo head and the shave performance was outstanding. This is a keeper!
Sort of...Here is the link: scentsy.com/products/scentsy-catalog.aspx sorry don't have link option on iPad browser... Melts wax at a low temp as an air freshener. My wife got this as a gift and I felt it could be better put to use as a lather warmer...doesn't get hot enough to damage brush in time it takes to shave...just nice warm lather! It is heated with a light bulb.
