'Vacation Bible School'...sorry, that acronym gets tossed around so much, it's become my default. We get about 250+families from the community who partake in it who don't normally go to the church so it's definitely an outreach program. Plus it gives a number of moms a break from the kids for a few hours...
Neat. Never was much of a Final Fantasy fan myself, but have fun. Hopefully it isn't too buggy. Mine's bald. Explain that. Nerd!!! Actually, I was thinking the same...
Being both familiar and involved with both Vacation Bible School and VBScript, I always have to check context when I see it written somewhere
Not too buggy at all! There was one type of quest where you had to "line-up" for your turn....that was lame and hopefully will be changed for the next test this weekend. All in all though the devs hit the ball out of the park with this game. The graphics are beautiful, the UI is the best I have ever seen in any game....it is just all out fun!
Well everyone, yesterday we laid Joe to rest. It was an incredible turnout. Hundreds came to the viewing, and a hundred people accompanied him to final resting place. The whole thing was very sad, and surreal. I would like to thank everyone for your words of encouragement. I cannot express how proud I am to be a member of "this" family. Thanks again. God bless you all.
It's the small things in life.... had a relaxing day off, nice lunch out, got my feathers trimmed, and set a new personal best leg press record at the gym.
An older lady made my day yesterday. I was addressing envelopes with my (newly acquired) Jinhao X750 fountain pen, when an elderly lady (maybe early 70s) beside me stopped and commented on my pen. I thank her and told her it was only a couple of dollars from China; she replied saying you wouldn't know it to look at it, and even so, it is a very beautiful pen. This just made my day! This is the pen. Its thick like a cigar, ivory with a rhodium plated nib (I think). I have it filled with Diamine Oxblood ink and it writes with medium-sized lines.
