I just bought this app to view the site but the API is out of date! Admins please update the forum!!!
I am calm. I simply wanted to illustrate my enthusiasm for the issue. There is no need to get snappy with me. I apologize if I rubbed you the wrong way?
I do get snappy when consideration isn't considered. I apologize. Please keep in mind we have only one admin, and he is very busy all the time. He will not ignore the problem once it is reported. There are however workarounds for this problem until he can handle the issue.
btw, my Google-fu tells me Tapatalk just released a new beta and is causing this issue on a lot of forums.
I don't understand how I was inconsiderate? by using explanation points? I said please and wasn't impolite.
That shouldn't be caused by the API. I have the error message on other boards as well with no issues.
you are correct! thank you. login is not my usual user name but email. gracias for your patience good sir.
Excessive exclamation marks, and I gave you an alternative option, in my attempt to be helpful, and you shot back fairly quickly with a rather demanding sounding post.
Thank you for all your help, Martin! I don't use Tapatalk and sparky (the admin) only has it so he can make it work with TSD for our members who do use it. So he rarely uses it.
Well, sorry I offended you. I'm at work and rush to get in a peak at the forums on my breaks. I already use the mobile version of the web site on my phone, but it isn't quite as interactive as I wanted. Tapatalk is sweet though and I'm very excited to get it working with TSD. Now, if only B&B would hop on the bandwagon and not worry so much about security . Being expressive on the internet is difficult. I use a lot of explanation marks to show my excitement / enthusiasm... not impatience, shouting, demanding, etc. I apologize if you interpreted it in a different way.
I am sorry, too. I do interpret written word as is grammatically correct, even though I realize people don't mind their grammar. You really should, though. Especially since I am pretty sure the internet will be around awhile, and what and how you write reflects on you and the interactions you'll experience with others online. I take forever making posts because I consider what I say and how I say it, except when my mood is a little less than sunshiny. Okay, lunch break is over. Back to my dungeon I go to slave away.
Perhaps even a smiley after all the exclamation marks could have helped indicate the intent, but all seems sorted now.
