I got an email this morning stating that I passed the practical experience portion of my professional accounting program. I have already passed the class portion....so in the fall I will be awarded the Certified Management Accountant designation, thus concluding 7 years of study! On another note I am racing in a 5k on Canada Day (July 1). My sister had been trains mg me hard for 6-7 weeks now, and I'm ready! This is huge given the fact that when she started working with me I could hardly run half a mile without almost passing out due to no stamina! Now that I'm into running, I am trying to sell off some stuff to get this beauty! The Garmin Forerunner 610. I would get the 210, but I can see myself starting cycling in a year, so I want something I can grow into.

Congrats! And Kudos! Running is not my forte; never has been, even when I was in good shape. Probably never will be. But my new (to me) Motoactv has been a good encouragement to getting more active. It can track whether I'm doing a walk, riding my bike, or when I get to the point of running, and lots of other activites (hello, yardwork ). Best of luck to ya

Thanks! Yeah I always hated running. But I decided to get back in shape when I did a short day hike one time and got out of breath...this bothered me because a few years before I had always been a hardcore hiker/backpacker ...so it was disturbing that I couldn't do a little 5k hike.
Well, I will be having more fun on the 10th. Well, at least I will be able to watch someone having fun. Well, actually, I will watch a band called "fun.". But its all fun, right? In the meanwhile we will look at the radar, check facebook, and decide if another family outing is about to be cancelled by the daily thunderstorm. Oh yeah.. I did get back on facebook.. However, that was due to daughter turning 13 and getting her account.
