  17. two friends and myself went on a metal detecting trip. it was an overnight trip.
    we rented a room for $25. each of us put up a ten spot. the clerk said he did not have change, that he would send the bellman with the change.
    an hour later, he arrived with five ones for three guys. we each took a buck and tipped the bellman two.
    now from the ten, we were refunded a buck.
