    HOT!! 2 min whisker rinse
    Arko SS-bowl lathered
    Omega 10029
    GEM OCMM/GEM SS d3
    Rebul Lavanda Colonia

Pulled out the heavy artillery today....To quote 'razorx's beautiful paraphrase of a famous quote...."To paraphrase General Colin Powell:To shave with the OCMM is to employ decisive and overwhelming force in order to achieve a rapid result."

Today was no exception.....3 pass BBS of the highest order....andwas both effortless and irritation free....

Man! I love the Tech! Such a LOW maintenance razor to clean, and what a nice shave every time (although the Brit version is a little more aggressive than her American counterpart - at least mine). I dont think I could ask for more.

    EARLY Friday Shave
    1:40am........

    a. Pre: hot cloth, homemade PSO
    b. Razor: 1930 Gillette Goodwill
    c. Blade: Astra SP (5th shave, hand-trop)
    d. Brush: Semogue 830
    e. Soap: Mitchell's Woof fat & dab of glycerin
    f. Shave: 3 passes + touch-up
    g. Post: cold water & dry, 4771 AS & Nivea balm, homemade shea butter cream.

Early riser this morning for work (5:00 am) & had no time to shave.
Face felt great 3.5 hrs post-shave, but it sure felt weird missing my morning routine.

    Perry Ellis 360 Red EDT

I was thinking of my dear friend Dmitry so I thought I would dedicate this shave to him. The Everest cream felt so cool and nice, and the lather whipped up in no time. Its matching aftershave balsam is also an eau de cologne with the exact same nice scent as the cream, and it has a LOT of menthol in it. The Floid Classic is another favorite aftershave splash of mine. ;) :D

    Saturday:

Prep: Hot water compress, AoS Unscented PSO
    Brush: Beeline Boar
    Soap: Ginger's Garden Coffee Jasmine
    Razor: Merkur 1904 OC
    Blade: Dorco-301 (1)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG
Post: Cold water splash, alum, cold water rinse, Dickinson's WH, Aveeno Active Naturals ASB
Cologne: Lippizan by Parfums de Marly

Night and day difference from the Dorco 300 to the 301, for me. The blade presented as being sharp as the Astra SP, but a bit smoother. I got a BBS shave without redness, and though it felt like I may have opened up small weepers under my chin and at the ramus of the mandible (including the sting from the alum and the witch hazel), no blood ever came. If the 301 performs this well on days 2 and 3, it may move ahead of the Treet Black Beauty on my scale.
