Well, we did a walkthrough... I've got a buttload of work to do tomorrow and next week. Wish me luck.
The plumber just left & fixed the clogged drains. Nice to be able to use my washer & dishwasher again. Now off to an archery lesson with a friend.
A great start to my vacation. A pit stop for a birthday party for my nephew and then hitting the road for the cottage on the lake. And it all started with a two pass shave with a Feather in my Merkur and a splash of Myrsol Blue. Frank
My wife & I are on an all-day date! Spending the day at the Cajun Zydeco Festival! Plenty of good dancin' music, GREAT Cajun cuisine, and friendly people...a regular Fais do do! Held at the historic Ardenwood Farms, the festival draws quite a crowd.
There should be an "out of context" there somewhere. I just hope Mr. Sara doesn't mind being referred to as "the plumber."
Not if you've been married as long as we are. I know that the correct response is "This isn't up for discussion. I am calling a plumber".
Hi fellow shavers. Our family is in grief. My father-in-law, newborn granddad to my baby girl and loving father to my girlfriend, past away this Friday in a violent hit'n'run on his way to work. He was on his bicycle, hit by a car doing almost 90mph in a 50mph zone. The driver was drunk and on drugs trying to overtake another car when he failed to see my father-in-law on the side of the road. The SOB fled the scene leaving him to die all alone on the side of the road. He was caught later that day. It was I who got the call. I'll never forget my mother-in-law's voice. I could hear from the first word that something was wrong.. I'll never forget my girlfriends reaction when she got the message and I'll never forget my father-in-law's parents reaction. They lost a child for God sake. Our daughters christening was held last Sunday. We're grateful he was able to attend that, as this Sunday was in the mix also. It's only unbearable that he'll never get to meet our daughter again and that she'll never meet him nor remember him. He was so proud of her. She was his first grandchild. My father-in-law was an avid cyclist, working hard good guy, eating healthy so he could live a long life with his wife and loving family. Sadly he only got to live 50 years due to a SOB with no respect for other peoples life's. 50 years old... man that's no age to die in :-( Sorry for the long read, needed to write something down and here seemed appropriate.
That's a tragedy. My best wishes to you and your family in persevering through this senseless tragedy.
Father, I pray for Martin and all who have suffered from this loss. I pray You will bless them with a peace that can only come from You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
