Worship was great, I had the opportunity to preach and pray for folks - it was a fantastic day at Church!!

Had a great dinner at my folks today! Corn on the cob, grilled asparagus, mashed potatoes, and maple glazed ribs! It was delicious! I made the ribs and they were fantastic! 3 hours of good grilling! :)

Aside from that, I started my new job this last week and it is going really well. I was told by the owner and CEO that I am workers mg to hard and analyzing the financials in too great detail.

    AND...

Next week I should be getting my letter saying I can use my CMA credentials, then I will be a REAL accountant! :)

I had mine rubbed down the night before too! What do you use? I use the Memphis Dust? From Amazingribs.com. when I was cutting them tonight I kept picking off the crispy crust and eating it! Lol!

Today we celebrated my oldest son's birthday. Twenty-six years ago I became a father for the first time, and my life from that day on forever changed.
Per his b-day request, we went out and had sushi, sashimi and saki. Returned home for a homemade carrot cake, and opened gifts. One of those gifts for him was a brand spankin' new Edwin Jagger DE89. He loved the look and feel and will give it a test run tomorrow. I may even get back my favorite vintage fat-handled Tech he borrowed. :)

I had relaxing Sunday. My dad left for Florida last Thursday and will be there until the end of the month. My sister went away to college, so I have the whole house to myself... well I share it with my dog.

Pretty decent work day. Slept in until about 3pm (VERY rare for me) and went to work at 5 came home and had a nice shower and shave. Not a bad day at all.

This morning my wife (mrsjennepo) and I welcomed 8 lb 7 oz, 20 3/4" baby Michael into the world. Fantastic day all around. Both are happy and healthy.
