I don't know if this brush and the brush above my post is the same...but they do resemble eachother. For me, I LOVE wood grain - any and all. I'd pick a wood grain finish over bakelite, metal(ic), glass, etc any day of the week. Obviously, just my aesthetic preference. Click on the picture to buy...let me know if you get one
I have to change mine again. The one thing that always catches my eye, is a pure boar brush, broken in. No fake badger dyes, just pure cream colored hairs. To my eyes they look better than even the best badger brush.
http://www.omegabrush.com/english/dabarba/oggetto.php?id=98 I love this style of brush handle. I don't like boar knots, though. Wish I could get one with a badger knot.
Looks like you are past due to go on in and get your eyes checked again. I hear that LASIK surgery is getting cheaper every year.
Spalted maple has dark streaks in it. The streaks are caused by mold that has discolored it. Kind of ironic that it enhances the appearance. When working with it, a person should wear a mask, but once sealed, it is safe to use.
Agreed. That's why it's just nice to look at. Although, I wonder how luxurious a $550 brush would feel? Anybody?
Sorry but except this http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/your-favorite-brush-to-look-at.33797/page-2#post-592539 can i add another restored love of mine? A Vie-Long Silvertip.
