How's your Day? - September 2013

Brought the kid to her Grandparents for a couple of hours so I could get my grass cut. It was way overdue, but we were both sick last weekend, and I did not feel up to it. Got it finished today and worked through a few of my "to listen" list on Spotify while doing it. Smoked a Pepin Blue as well. Wasn't too bad.

Went and picked the kid up, and now we can sit back, fix a nice dinner, watch some silly cartoons, and generally chill.

Oh, and my Husky caught a squirrel on the run this morning. He was so very very proud of himself, and did not understand at all when I told him he could not bring it inside the house.

 

Finished up my new Kali install. SO MANY TOOLS I LOVE IT!

 

And I'm *almost* done with transferring old data and re-setting up programs. :woot: A few headaches, but that's not unexpected.

 

My Bonsai Weeping cherry is starting to flower. Pics when it is in full bloom.

 

So.... the anti-depressants are working then?

 

Yes, it's a cheery cherry tree.

 

Good. We wouldn't want it to cut itself.

In other news... survived the weekend. It wasn't too bad. Both our high school boys and the Longhorns lost. That was a major bummer; especially the high school... those boys played the best ballgame of their lives. It was a very close game and I think ultimately, they were just too exhausted pull it off. It was only about 104 degrees out, and the ballgame started at noon. I finally got to use my catch phrase several times during the game though whenever our boys scored!

Then, this morning, came into the most epic crisis of all time...

MY COFFEE MAKER IS DEAD!
