Shark Stainless. Shredded my face 100% of the time. I can't chalk it up to a bad blade when it's 2 different packs ordered at different times. A close 2nd could be the new Wilkinson Sword blades. They're not up to the lineage for sure.
Many are listing some blades I enjoy... To me Astra can only be used in a couple of razors with out causing a blood bath. 7am and Dorco's are also a no go.
BIC blades have always struck me as very harsh, even with a light touch and good technique there was a lot of tugging and scraping with brand new blades. I've had others that I thought weren't great, but those I really disliked.
We could practically set up an exchange based off of this thread. Person X gives up Blade 1 that he hates to Person Y, who loves it, in exchange for Blade 2, that Person Y can't stand but Person X likes.
Worst is Lord Stainless. Felt serrated and wouldn't cut at all. The Lord Platinums aren't bad but I wont be buying any more.
This is an interesting thread to resurrect. My worst blade was Treet Platinum, no matter what I did I just could not make those things work well for me.
Of the blades I've tried (around 20 of the most "regular" ones, so not nearly every blade out there), I have to list Derby on the top. Next up is, weirdly enough, Rapira Platinum Lux. Those two tug already WTG, and is a pain in general. Every other blade I can use in some way, but not those two.
Personna- so irritating that I couldn't even complete 1 shave with it. (My husband had the same reaction.)
Used to be Dorco 300's were the worst thing ever to come close to my face. However, that has changed. I recently tried a Zorrick blade. I would rather grow a beard than use one of those again. Just a horrible little piece of metal.
Zorrik blades are awful. Right down there with Merkur, for me, although I have found a razor that Merkur work with. Dorco 300, Sharp, and 7am are also on my avoid list. I also don't like Voshkod- but they aren't as bad as the rest.
