I do like the Speick cream that I tried. I wound up with a tube of it as part of a larger purchase and found the stuff provided a nice lather and I'm one of those who actually DO like the scent. :)

A nice haul from Stirling Soap. 2 pucks of Glacial (one for me, one for someone else,) a sample of Cool, and I turned the last one over so the person receiving it wouldn't know what it is... ;) Jeff, get ready.

I purchased one of these too. Let me make a suggestion to buy some plastidip (plastic rubber dip) and coat the prongs with the rubber. I initially scratched up some of my brushes before adding the rubber. It looks nice too and will protect my expensive brushes.

Not shave related, but I rescued this 48 year old 12 ga Wingmaster with a plain 26" IC barrel on it. The price was right and I was looking for a spare field beater / house gun. It took about 3 hours of cleaning and a nice smooth gun was underneath. I would rate the finish about 70%, but it shouldn't get any worse with a few coats of Johnson's paste wax on it. I put 200 shells through it shooting skeet and think I am going to give it a shot for a round of sporting this weekend. So far it is worth ever penny of the $100 I gave for it.

Picked up my first shave soap, guess I need to get a mug or bowl now

Nice looking weapon, but I have to ask,. What do you mean by a house gun?
Probably a stupid question, but since I am not a hunter or haven't held a gun since my army days, I just wanted to ask.

    I miss my AG-3 :)

I imagined it would be the gun you used while going house hunting. That would explain why a real estate agent makes so much money.
You deserve to be well paid if you have to dodge bullets just to make a sale :)

My definition of a house gun would be a gun with a dual purpose house protection and nuisance animal control(snakes mostly here) . I live in a really rural area, that is what it would mean to me.

A step up from your tool box gun. :happy068:
