1. My recommendation is "not at all." In fact, don't even buy it.
  2. I think if you microwave these vege steaks long enough, Rich, you could wind up with some fairly durable pot holders...

  3. I have no doubt. Already, going by the package art, they look like something the dog left behind. /puke
  4. I think you may be a little too harsh, the ingredient list certainly looks appealing.....

  5. Serving size: 3 turds. Um... I'll pass. Thanks.

    :D

And carmel color is pretty bad for you. Sodium seems on the high side.
  6. UGH!! Heresy.:angry019:
  7. The same as you would cook vegan bacon:happy102:
  8. First world country problems. Hoo boy. Imitation meat products for vegetarians...when are they going to find the right product for the market? I need imitation veggies made from meat products.

  10. Rare. Bloody. Pink.
The perfect steak for me isnt so much cooked as it is heated up
  11. Medium/Medium-well checking in. For the rare/medium-rare eaters, how do you deal with the almost gummy centers? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a spot o'pink, but I've ordered steaks that were practically cold in the center.
  12. Medium rare all the way!
If it's gummy, it's too rare for me.
  13. Just a hair past rare, though I'm not opposed to carpaccio.
  14. I wonder how well it goes with this:

  15. I swear that a steak, a hair past rare, served with a bit of rare hare, is rarely passable fare.

  16. Mmm.... Soy protein isolate.... Drools.
  17. I like a thick Filet Mignon Brooklyn Style....Dark on the outside and Red in the center....otherwise, just knock off the horns, shave off the hair (BBS please) and bring forth...

  18. I know all of you steak connoisseur's are going to hate me :innocent:
Meat and rice is about all I eat, but I tried the veggie hamburgers once and they actually tasted pretty good to me...
As for steak I like mine "VERY" well done(no blood please) with ketchup on it....YUMMMM :D
  19. :(

    Ketchup? /cry

As my father used to say, "The only thing a good steak needs is a fork and occasionally, a knife."

One of the biggest misnomers…. a 'well done' steak.
