    Tuesday-Italia questa mattina!

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Spice Bath Soap
    Soap: Proraso Red Tub-Sandalwood
    Razor: RazoRock Jaws OC
    Blade: Personna Med Prep (2)
    Brush: Omega 6792 Badger
    Aftershave: Proraso Green

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

Italy today! I had my 2nd shave with the RazoRock Jaws Open Comb. It is a great shaver: smooth, very close, nick & burn free today. I used the Proraso Red Tub Sandalwood and finished with a bit of menthol using the Proraso Green.

    Vai Italia!

    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: Weishi 9306
    Blade: Astra SP (day 2)
    Brush: Wilkinson Sword
    Cream: Musgo Real Classic
    Passes: 2 (WTG x2, XTG)
    Post: cold water, Proraso blue

I rushed today's shave, and I felt it. the shave started out feeling OK, but my lather was too wet and I didn't provide much protection.

Still have a CCS, just got some razor burn to go along with it.

The Van Der Hagen Luxury shave soap face-lathered very well with the Semogue 1305 boar brush. Two passes with the GEM MMBT and touch-ups on the neck left me clean and smooth. I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman AS.

    Prep: Warm shower, Cornhuskers Lotion
    Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89L
    Blade: Voskhod (3)
    Cream: Arko Ice Mint
    Brush: Vie-Long Horse Hair 12705
    Post: Witch Hazel, Cornhuskers Lotion
    Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman

I'm feeling a bit under the weather today, but I have a meeting I have to attend. That meant I had to shave. I did a nice, easy 2 pass shave today and finished with a fine shave. It's about the quality of shave that I used to get with a Mach III, so it's definitely acceptable.

    Have a great day!

    TUESDAY

Pre: Hot shower, Shea Facial wash & scrub, homemade pso
    Razor: Merkur Futur (Set@3)
    Blade: Merkur Super (Day 1)
    Brush: Semogue SOC Boar
    Lather: Tabac Soap
    Shave: Three passes, plus touch-up
Post: Cold water rinse, Alum block, Shea cream

Using my other remaining DE razor this early morn, on a mild setting. I've found the Merkur blades seem to work best in the Merkur razors—and I have no explanation why; only my experience. Since I'm down to only one Merkur razor, I know what I'll be 'feeding' it. Back to the office this morning after an extended time off. At least my face feels good!

    Tabac Tuesday

Prep: warm face wash with Shea Moisture scrub, Proraso Green PSC
    Soap: Tabac
    Brush: HIS Synthetic
    Razor: Merkur 33c
    Blade: Gillette 7OC Yellow(1)
Post: Cold water rinse, TSD Aftershave Milk, Signature scent

I tried to go as German as possible today. Easy shave, but not as close as my MR10. Lather was classic thick smooth Tabac. Aftershave milk feels great and my face is moisturizer against the winter dry air, though a little more rough than I prefer.

    Tuesday morning:

Razor: Slanty slant from the big M
    Blade: A popular Japanese export
    Brush: Semogue 8:30
Soap: de Vergulde Hand, freshly shmooshed.
After: Proraso white for the delight
    of my dry skin

I spent a long time outside yesterday shovelling and snowblowing, something I forgot about until my brush hit my windburn. I thought my blade was worn out because it was burning, but it wasn't tugging at all. -17c again today, still snowing. 7 hours, 32 minutes of sunlight expected today, not that you'd know with all the clouds. At least my shave was awesome.

    TSD unscented wheat cream
Oscar11 custom brush with HIS knot
    EJ DE89 razor
    Astra SP blade

Good lather from the TSD cream and the big soft Oscar11 brush. Three passes, nice smooth results. I put on some extra CeraVe lotion because of the cold day!

    Tuesday:

Prep: Hot Shower, Crown Shaving Co. Preshave lotion
    Brush: VDH Boar
    Cream: Speick (German made)
Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 Open Comb (German made)
Blade: Bolzano Superinox (German made), day 2
    Passes: WTG. XTG (3, 4)
Post: Cold water splash, Dickinson's WH, Speick AS splash
Cologne: The Third Man by Caron

This was the first time I noticed a difference in quality between the VDH Boar and the Beeline Boar; the latter with the Speick cream produced a rich, creamy lather roughly on par with that made by the Simpson 56 Best Badger, while the former produced an airier lather that had a harder time maintaining cushion and glide after the first pass. I settled for a CCS today in two passes, with no nicks, weepers, or irritation, since I didn't seem to get the necessary lift of the whiskers to really chase the baby today.
