    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: WW2 Gillette Khaki
    Blade: Astra SP (day 1)
    Brush: Wilkinson Sword
    Soap: Proraso white
    Passes: 2 (WTG x2, XTG)
Post: cold water, alum, Proraso blue

I couldn't wait any longer and I switched to my Grandfather's WW2 Gillette Khaki. Got some cuts, but it was not a bad shave, seems to be closer then my Weishi. Not sure which razor I'll use nest, but the Weishi's day may be numbered...

I didn't get a great lather from the Proraso until the final pass. Tomorrow I might just spend the day making lather until I get the water ratio right for soap...

Thanks Kevin! It's a very heavy wedge and it has a lot of hone wear on it with a very long bevel but, it shaves like a dream! It's one of my special 4. (special wall display) They are in the 160+ year olds club. When this heavy hitter is used, the whiskers run for cover! :scared003: :D

Afternoon shave today and only 2+ passes since the Christmas season brings a shirt and tie event this evening so no need for any chance of irritation or blood letting. I'll have to look at my journal but it seems that today's lather was more cushiony than previous Musgo samples of different scents. Not sure why that would be but it was quite enjoyable nonetheless.

    My Sunday shave
    Razor: Ri,mei (Rimei)
Blade: Rapira Super Stainless (Day 5)
    Brush: Isana Men Badger
    Soap: Camelot Classic
    Post: Tariş Lavander Cologne 80°

This shave was awesome. Yesterday I found a Camelot stick soap in a wholesaler and bought it instantly. I have used my new Rimei and Camelot Shaving soap for the first time and I was amazed because of their performance. The soap's scent reminded me of village made oil soaps which is nice btw. I got a thick, moisturizing lather from the soap and also Rimei did a better job than my Wilkinson Sword DE razor. But still I love my WS DE :) I got a nice close shave and quite happy :)

The LA Shaving Topanga Fougere is the real deal, excellent soap, great scent. Very nice shave this morning, wicked sharp blade. This hollow ground W&B is good shaver and I've been thinking about redoing the scales in bone but I'm a little hesitant to change it from it's original form. Have a good one. I picked up this English made mug in an antique store in Denver a while back.

I couldn't sleep, so I got out of bed.

Prep: hot shower, L'Oreal Face Wash.
    Brush: Vulfix Burlington.
Razor: Gillette 40's Rocket (first time use.)
    Blade: Personna Lab.
    Cream: Noxzema Lather.
Post: cold water rinse, Walgreen's witch hazel, Phyto Balm.

This is the second shave I've had in a couple weeks. Again, I just did a simple one light pass WTG. My poison ivy is a thing of the past and is barely visible on my neck. It can't even be seen on my cheek anymore. My skin is really tight though, probably from all the vinegar and salt I've been putting on my skin to kill the poison ivy. My first time using the Rocket went pretty well. I think one pass with that will more than take care of my facial hair. I wish this Noxzema Lather cream hadn't been discontinued. It's pretty good stuff. The lather is kind of tricky, but once you figure it out; it will serve you well. This Walgreen's Witch Hazel stinks. It does what it's supposed to do, but it smells awful. I'm not much of a balm person, but this Phyto Balm is awesome. It goes on light and doesn't make my skin really oily or make it break out. I wish it was easier to find; apparently it's all over Russia (its home country.)

Next time you can go back to two passes. I'm glad you enjoyed the Noxzema and Phyto. :) You see how Dodi's choices work wonders? ;)

They definitely worked! :D I'm glad I listened. Phyto is probably the best balm I have ever used. Most balms make my skin feel oily and they tend to give me acne. But this goes on really light and I love that. It's pretty similar to Nivea Sensitive, another balm I like.

Love the Brut. I have and use often: Brut ASB, Brut aftershave, Brut splash-on, Brut cologne and Brut anti-perspirant/deodorant gets used every day. I also have some TSD Brut Type shave soap. I had a tube of the Brut Classic shave cream a while back and really like it.
