My Cobra Classic came in the mail today! All I can say is it is absolutely stunning! I haven't seen a razor this beautiful ever. It is solid, heavy, and shiny! I can't wait to use it tomorrow! :)

It takes the Feather blades made for the Artist Club razors. The Kai blades fit also.

I'm thinking I may pick up some Kai blades as my face usually hates Feather blades. But we will see. My first shave with it this morning went fairly well. Only a few knicks and moderate burn when I put on the aftershave. The beauty of the Cobra, other than the looks, is it covered at least twice the amount of territory as my other razors! So the shaves should go much quicker when I get the angle down, and don't fear the feather blades.

I stopped by the Roanoke Antique Mall today and picked up 2 shaving mugs, a Burma Shave mug and an Old Spice mug. The OS mug was packaged with Colgate Cup Soap and an Ever Ready brush. The brush needs a new knot, but the handle appears to be in good shape.

My Merkur razor case came today. Now I have something to store my Cobra in when not in use, or during travel.

Keep an eye out for my SOTD posts over the next few days. I'll be posting my thoughts there, until I review the razor.

    So Friends,

today i received Soap (Bath and Shaving Soap) from a member in our German Forum. He is an artisan named "Ron",from Austria. A really nice guy, which creates FANTASTIC soaps. And believe me,i´m not lying. Here a pic:

I mean, look at that logo...really classic. Nice. Here some of his ingredients:
    Olive-Oil,Shea Butter,Macademia-Oil,Jojoba-Oil,Cacao-Butter,Lanolin,Ghasoul,Water,Grape Seed Oil,Sunflower Oil,Rape Oil,Honey,Margarine...and a few more.

This soap is truly an absolute winner. The scents are very fine, not too overpowering, just right to get it right to your nose. Ron is working to give the soaps a little more "powerful" scent, but i have to say,for me it´s absolutely ok. Highly recommended!!!

    Greetings

Very nice Razor!!! Have fun with it. I´m very sad that iKon doesn´t ship to Germany at this point...:( in the last days i would like to order the open comb base plate together with the top cap. I like the finish of it.

Status when i wanted to pay:

"Sorry,we are not shipping to your region at the moment"
